State vs. Me - Update

I've been talking to a lot of people and I've been gathering quite a bit of UNprofessional opinion regarding my current legal situation. So far, few opinions have matched any others. Here are a few theories I've been hearing:

- You'll be out in half time...
- You'll serve 30 days no matter what...
- They'll keep you in minimum security for sure...
- You're going straight to maximum, min. gets full quick...
- The time will fly by...
- You're gonna wanna kill yourself in there... okay, maybe I said that one to myself ;)

Anyway, I'm meeting with my lawyer on Saturday. I assume he'll have the answers to all of these opposing theories and I'm just hoping for the best.

The other thing I'm planning on asking him about is house arrest. My boss was telling me that one of his friends got charged with copyright infringement. The FBI was involved and everything. Now the guy is on house arrest, never spent a day in jail, and gets to leave to go to work too. He runs his own business and I'm assuming the judge may have decided in favor of the economy and is letting the guy keep his business open for the good of the people.

So I was thinking, if my boss would testify to the fact that his business WILL fail without me for a month, maybe I'll get the same deal. It actually happens to be a completely true fact. It's a fucking long shot but I'm thinking it's worth one at least. I'm not getting my hopes up or anything but... I'll let you know what happens with Attorney face on Saturday.
