Xilisoft DVD Creating Software

Recently I was trying to burn a simple DVD. I wanted to show my peeps the Ali G movie which I only have on my computer. For some reason the software that is on my computer wasn't working. So, I decided I needed to buy some new software to fix this problem.

As I was lurking around on the internet trying to find a program that wasn't too expensive but still worked well I came across Xilisoft DVD Creator. I tried it out and then bought it. This was the worst mistake of my life!

Xilisoft's DVD Creator took a million years just to create the damned DVD, and then when it finally got into burn mode it did nothing but eject the blank DVD saying that the burn had been completed. You have no idea how pissed I was.

When I tried contacting them about their shitty software they gave me a bunch of run around answers that didn't work and had nothing to do with the problem. Finally, after trying all their suggestions, I decided that I wanted my money back. After they heard that, they gave me another list of bullshit solutions that I should try. Of course, none of those ideas worked. So I replied back to them saying that I wanted a refund immediately. No answer. As many times as I request a refund they seem to just ignore me.

Bottom line, never fucking buy from these guys. If you ever have a problem with your software (which is pretty much guaranteed) they won't even be able to help you and there is no way in hell you are getting your money back.

My Accident

A couple of years ago I got into quite the car accident. I tried posting the pictures on MySpace but they thought they were too graphic for their site. I don't quite get it but, whatever, here they are!

Some of you are probably asking "what the hell happened???" Well, here's the basic story...

I was at a party on the far end of the Berlin Turnpike. I got way too drunk and decided it was an alright decision to drive home. I made it literally 2 minutes away from home when I passed out at the wheel and I struck the curb with the back tire of my 1986 Camaro (I loved that car...). As my back end kicked out the car started to flip and it went into someones house. I am pretty sure that the car ended up in the woods.

From what I can gather, my arm got stuck in the steering wheel and broke completely in half, forwards. I lost so much blood that they weren't sure if I was going to make it. But, they sent in the helicopter and off to Hartford Hospital I went. I spent the first week in a coma and then 4 more weeks in a morphine daze.

That's pretty much it really. As it stands now, I can't really feel my arm that well and my movements are restrictive. But, that's life I guess. Take responsibility for your actions and deal with it.
